Flowerwild Workshops continued. Part II

Day two was about bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres and flower crowns.  The day began with Kate showing us how to make a hand-tied bouquet using the lacing technique.

We were all surprised with the gorgeous Abby as our model.  Lois Hiranaga AIFD did this colorful bouquet.

My bouquet perfumed with the most incredible Japanese sweet peas, ranunculus, anemones, roses, unusually colored lisianthus and phalaenopsis.
I loved making this romantic bouquet and was so busy taking photos of it that I did not do the boutonniere or corsage.  Thank you Kate and the Flowerwild team for a wonderful experience!

Flowerwild workshops, Los Angeles, CA. Jan. 29-30, 2015 Pt. I

For two days, Kate Holt of Flowerwild and her merry crew showed us an exquisite time in Los Angeles.  The fabulous Corbin Gurkin was there photographing our work the entire time that we were there.  I'd like to share some of the pictures which I took during this enjoyable experience.

Great lounge area for chatting.

Kate offered us fabulous blooms from all over the world, some of which I had never seen before.

Incredible Japanese ranunculus!!
