Hands on Holiday workshops with Rene van Rems AIFD 2018

Happy Thanksgiving!

I have to share this.  I ordered a Fall wreath from René van Rems AIFD for my mom who lives in a different state from me.  He was teaching a series of Fall design classes and was offering a door wreath as one of the projects so I thought that it would be a nice surprise for my mom who knows René.
He sent me a photo before mailing it to her and I thought it was so pretty that I thought I'd share it on this blog.

I was fortunate to be able to attend this five day hands-on class in Carlsbad.  It covered topics which I had not previously studied, such as Sympathy work and how to construct a Mille Fleur arrangement. René offered new ideas for commercial, every day, special event and wedding work.  Quick tours of the San Diego Flower Market and the Resendiz Brothers' Farm were also included.
